Hysope

Hysope is a Brussels-based artist who creates music for theater, blending their love for the experimental and the nostalgic. Their sound is deeply influenced by the warm, atmospheric synths of the '80s, which serves as the backbone for their diverse sonic palette. Driven by a deep passion for music, Hysope was inspired to explore DJing, where their energetic sets combine Latin-influenced rhythms, Breaks, Hardgroove and Ghetto tech, creating a dynamic and infectious atmosphere. However, they are never bound by genre conventions and enjoy experimenting with various styles, as long as they keep the groove alive.
With Jekkamaï, they co-founded the collective SIZZLEPROOF, a collective and platform highlighting POC Djs, one dance floor at a time.
